Our Story

It Started With One Home in Ramsay

Peak Stays started with one home in Ramsay and a stubborn idea: that a short-term rental could feel high end without the high end price. Jon and Richard spent a year and a half getting that first place right. The reviews it earned are the reason there is a second one, and every home after it.

How We Grew

Airbnb Asked Us to Help Other Hosts

That first home earned Airbnb Superhost status, a Guest Favorite badge in the top five percent of homes on Airbnb, and Premier Host status on Vrbo. Airbnb noticed and invited us to help other hosts lift their own listings. We said yes. That is how the management side of Peak Stays started, and it is still the same two people doing the work.

Co-Founder and Host

Jon

Jon runs the guest side. He is an Airbnb Superhost who answers every message, and usually answers it within the hour. Guests rate his homes 4.8 and up. Off the clock he is hiking, sailing, or somewhere else on the map.

Richard

Co-Founder and Owner

Richard

Richard runs the business side. He spent close to twenty years in IT and telecom before Peak Stays, and it shows in how the operation is put together: systems that hold up, reporting owners can actually read, and no surprises at month end.
